The timid Phool (Natanshi Goel) and the ambitious Jaya (Pratibha Ranta) are resourceful young ladies who inspire and impress those around them.

These people include the comedic yet scheming police officer Shyam Manohar (Ravi Kishan) and the vivacious, no-nonsense street food stand owner Manju Maai (Chhaya Kadam).

These characters are unique and relatable, perfectly capable of staying with the audience.

Through a series of haunting events, Vanraj holds the family hostage in their farmhouse and has Janhvi threaten to harm her family if anything goes wrong.

Shaitaanalso encompasses female empowerment, shown when Jyothika delivers action scenes in iconography that male actors enjoy.

The film is also a first for director Vikas who dabbles in horror for the first time, proving his versatility as a filmmaker.

Amar Singh Chamkila (2024)

The film tells the story of its titular musician (Diljit Dosanjh) and his wife Amarjot (Parineeti Chopra).

Chamkila and Amarjot were two of the most beloved Punjabi singers.

Known for their unabashed explicit songs, they often performed duets.

They were tragically assassinated in 1988.
