The most efficient jerry box farm [GUIDE] (2024)

Hey guys! I see a lot of forum posts asking about the best ways to farm jerry boxes when Jerry gets elected. This is a simple and easy farm that can be built at any stage of the game.

Step one:

Create a structure like this. It requires a hole in the middle with water flowing into it so mobs can flow there.

Here's a picture of the bottom. If you do not have a jerry chine gun or any area of effect weapon, create an opening to melee the mobs like so.

Step two:

Craft tier one spider minions. The tier of the minion does not matter because, after about a minute, the minion will stop spawning spiders and say. "I cannot reach and spiders". Place the spider minions as shown in the picture for step one.

Step three:

Build a wall around your farm. This will stop the jerries from jumping into the void.

Step four:

The Chat Triggers mod is required for this farm. Download it and then type /ct import JerryTimer
This will give you the timer shown in the top left of my screen. It shows when you can get another Jerry Box.

After you have built this farm, wait 6 minutes. You can farm, watch youtube, or do whatever you want. After 6 minutes, kill all the spiders with a jerry-chine gun, hyperion, melee weapon, or whatever you have. As I have seen, you get a jerry box 75% of the time. After getting your jerry box, wait another 6 minutes. There is a cooldown of this time before you can get the next jerry box.

yes, you can farm for 6 minutes then do this then go back to farming

But don’t you get Jerry boxes from farming anyway? And it would be one every 6 minutes? Or is it less Jerry boxes/hour to use this method than to just do nothing but farm

Farming does give jerry boxes, but doing this is basically a guaranteed box every 6 minutes. Farming will give you much less than this

I don't see why farming or Tara slayer or f4 would give less please explain

They aren't supposed to. This was changed a while ago in order to prevent people from getting Combat 50 on their islands in a few weeks.

Because once your 6 minutes is up, you aren’t GUARANTEED a Jerry instantly

this farm makes you get one nearly the second you hit 6 minutes

where other things may take another 3-5 min to drop one

If you get exp every second, both works. And killing mobs on priv islands don’t give exp, so this is useless.

Is it only on exp? The way he wrote this made it seem like he’s used it personally and it’s worked well

The farm does not require getting xp to work. It just needs you to kill the mob. If you guys are doubting me, heres what I got in half a day of this farm
